(I will try to write next few posts in English language. The main reason is to improve my bad English. If you find any mistake, feel free and correct it!)
Everyone knows that tale. God created Adam and Eve. They lived in paradise, they could do everything except eat fruits from forbidden tree. They lived happily until Satan worn as snake came to Eve and it says her that she can eat all fruits. What followed is well known. Eve and Adam ate the fruit from the forbidden tree and they were chased from paradise.
But now takes a closer look at main point of the story. Eve realizes that there are two possibilities what may happen if she eat an forbidden fruit. First - she will die - that said God. Second - she will not die - that said snake. She has two possibilities but she doesn't know which one is the true one. She had no possibility to prove which one is correct - only eat one of the fruits and wait until something happens. She tastes one fruit and sees the result. No more belief, no more trust - certainty.
The last paragraph exactly describes what science does. Possibilities, tests, results. Viewed from this point of view Adam and Eve were the very first scientists and unfortunatelly also very first victims of science. They risked their lives, they put their lives on altar of science. God bless them!
